As part of their preparations for the upcoming festive season, Police officers at the KiraKira Police Station, in the Makira-Ulawa Province visited remote villages at Marou Bay, in the Arosi 2 District 14 – 17 November to hold awareness talks on Family Protection, the Liquor and Dangerous Drugs Acts.
“During the operations, code named, ‘Mekem Pipol Save Moa long Law’ my officers visited five villages in the Arosi 2 District including Ahia, Tawaiabu, Taramatanga, Wairiri and Harenia,” says Provincial Police Commander, Makira-Ulawa Province, Superintendent Peter Sitai.
