A young boy safely returned to his family yesterday morning after he went missing over the weekend.
A witness to the incident reported to Police seeking assistance when the young drunk male paddled away to sea leaving instructions for no one to look for him. Police were told the young man was angry and upset after a family dispute.
However he has returned safely to his family.
Provincial Police Commander Supervising, Honiara City reminded families and communities to address issues of dispute in the proper way to avoid such incidences – at the same time he acknowledged the quick action by members of the public who sought police assistance.
