C3 training boost WP officers in preparation for joint elections in April 2024
Command Control and Coordination (CCC) training boosted officers of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) in Western Province (WP) as part of the preparation for the joint elections on 17 April 2024.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC) WP, Chief Superintendent Mathias Lenialu says, “As the National General Election is fast approaching. RSIPF Senior Executive recommend all officer commanding stations and senior officers of the RSIPF who will be taking the active leadership roles in the upcoming joint election to undergo this very important training.”
PPC Lenialu says, “The purpose of the training is to upskill and enhance our Police officers’ capability and capacity to professional and actively command, control and coordinate the running of the joint elections operation.”
Chief Superintendent Lenialu says, “This training was timely and appropriate as we prepare for the joint elections in April 2024. Participant who attended the training provide a very positive feedback and highly commended this training that has add very important technical tools that they will be utilized during joint election operation.”

During the training officers presented an operation order and a comprehensive situation reports as evidence of the training outcome,” says PPC Lenialu.
Training facilitator, Inspector Tex Tafoa convey his gratitude to the PPC WP and his operation manager for their hospitality, encouragement and motivating his officers to excel in their future carrier. The facilitator also highly appreciated the participant for their experience and active participation during the two days training.
The two days training have commenced from 18 to 19 March 2024.
