Issue the Training Certificates
The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) National Crime Prevention Department (NCPD) and the China Police Liaison Team (CPLT) have successfully completed a three-day criminal investigation training for officers in Western Province recently.
Supervising Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Western Province Superintendent Wilken Miriki says, “The training was conducted at Gizo police station and attended by a total of 21 police officers from five police stations in Western Province.”
Supervising PPC Miriki said, “Upon completion of the training, all 21 participants received certificates, with upskilled knowledge to execute their job well at their stations.”
Superintendent Miriki said, “The training covered forensic investigation, cybercrime, and fraud detection. The program adopted an innovative “theory plus scenario and discussion approach.”
“This is the first time since I took on the PPC role for an international partner that brought specialized criminal investigation training to our local officers. The training was very practical and will greatly assist in handling modern crimes,” said PPC Miriki.
We acknowledge and thank the NCPD and CPLT for bringing the training to our officers in Western Province.
