The China Police Liaison Team (CPLT) has shared traffic management experience with the National Traffic Department (NTD) of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) recently.

The share of traffic management experience came after NTD officially invited the CPLT to conduct sessions on multiple aspects of China's traffic management, including organizational structure, management concepts, publicity, traffic facilities, intelligent traffic management, and congestion control.

The NTD participants actively engage in deep discussion on solutions for future local traffic management. The CPLT members are looking forward to continuing their collaboration with the RSIPF Traffic to improve and maintain efficient traffic operations.

Director NTD Superintendent William Foufaka appreciates CPLT for their active participation during the session.

Director Foufaka said, “The management experience is of great value. The working philosophy of "people-oriented and service first" of Chinese traffic police serves as a role model for all police officers.

The director reminded his officers of the importance of their dedication to their duty despite extreme weather conditions.

NTD looks forward to further strengthening cooperation with CPLT in the future to promote the traffic management system in the Solomon Islands.
