Police recovered a total huge amount of money from an alleged suspect of robbery at the Solomon Islands Public Employees Union (SIPEU) at the town ground office yesterday morning.
The recovery of the cash comes when the alleged suspect was arrested at Mbokona yesterday with the assistance of the Town Council Law Enforcement Officers of the Honiara City Council when they teamed up with the Police.
Small amount of money was not recovered but police will work on it through the investigation to recover that amount of money.
Police are investigating the incident and ask the general public if you have any information in relation to the robbery do come forward and report it.
