Officers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) will benefit from a fully equipped gymnasium recently completed at the Rove Police Headquarter in Honiara.
The Solomon Islands Police Development Program (SIPDP) funded the facility under its infrastructure assistance to the RSIPF. SIPDP has also provided a Technical Instructor with the gym.
“The facilities would enable RSIPF officers to acquire and maintain required health and operational fitness conducive to their line of duty,” says Supervising Commissioner of Police, Gabriel Manelusi.
He adds: “I want to thank the SIPDP for providing the facility which will assist our officers maintain their fitness, something that is very important for their duties as police officers.”
