The Guadalcanal police are continuing an effort in trying to find a nine (9) year old boy who went missing, after a trip out with his two other brothers at Marau resort area yesterday morning.Police alleged the victim was with his two brothers who were diving while he kept the canoe at approximately about 10: am yesterday. The both boys surface to check on him in the afternoon but he wasn’t seen till today.A police team was sent in with the help of locals searching the site for the whole part of the day, but couldn’t find anyone or any piece of evidence of where about of him and his canoe. The members of the public particularly those living around the Marau area sea shore, to report police of anyone who may have any sighting of the missing boy or his canoe.Police can be contacted on phone: 36200 or 23666.
